Inhale. Pause. Exhale

Imagine each surge or contraction to be a wave. It rises, it moves forward, it glides down and stretches across the sand, visualize the tide coming in with each wave, the sea moves closer and closer. Little by little.
Some reach your toes, some do not but each wave the water progresses. Each one is achieving it goal to getting closer to you.
You sit and enjoy each wave or you can stress that you are losing your beach, your blanket may get wet, your perfect little spot in the sun is changing. We can run from it, pack up and go or we can enjoy the moment, we can smile as the sun kisses our face, we can enjoy the cool water touching our toes, our legs, our soul.
Inhale. Pause. Exhale. The world naturally changes. Every single Moment. Smile. Feel the warmth of the sun.
Welcome your changing body.
Welcome the birth of your baby.
With grace and love,
Kate

About Kate Sullivan

I have been teaching HypnoBirthing and attending births as a HypnoBirthing Labor Companion since 2008. My passion comes from empowering every family, whether it is a quick inquiry to learn more or a client that I joyfully spend hours counseling with HypnoBirthing or rushing off to a birth at 2 in the morning. I want to teach you how to trust yourself, your body and give your partner those same tools so that you can begin your journey as parents with confidence.
